The principle of falking:
In the oil crops pretreatment process, the oil needs to be rolled into flakes. Take soybeans as an example,The soybean is composed of countless cells. The surface of the soybean cells is a relatively tough cell wall composed of cellulose and hemicellulose. And oil fats and other substances are contained in the cell wall. To extract the oil in the cell, it is necessary to destroy the cell wall on the surface and destroy the cell tissue of soybean.
During flake rolling, mechanical external force can be used to destroy the cell tissue of soybean and destroy the cell wall of some cells. The thinner the soybean is rolled, the more the cell tissue is destroyed. Flake rolling makes the soybeans change from granular to flake. When the oil is extracted from the solvent, the contact surface between the flakes and the solvent is increased, and the diffusion path of the oil is shortened, which is beneficial to increase the speed and depth of leaching.
The structure of flaking roller.
1, Feeding structure
Ensure uniform feeding and flow adjustment over the entire roll length. It consists of a rotating feeding roller, a hopper, a control valve, and a magnetic separator.
2, Roller
It is the main working components of the flake. The roller body and the roller shaft are connected together by hot-pressing and cold-shrinking. The two ends of the roll are usually chamfered or trapezoidal to fit closely with the baffle to prevent material leakage, reduce the stress concentration on the roll edge, and prevent the roll edge from falling off due to improper operation during the work.
3, Adjustment device of roll distance
Change the working gap between the two rollers to adjust the thickness of the flakes; when large hard impurities enter between the two rollers, the distance between the two rollers can be automatically increased to avoid damage to the rollers. At present, large-scale flakes all adopt hydraulic tight-roller devices.
4, Baffle and scraper
The bottom of the roll is equipped with a scraper for scraping the raw material, its function is to scrape off the blank adhered to the roll in time to keep the roll surface smooth. The scraper usually relies on the action of a spring or a heavy hammer and a lever to keep it in constant contact with the roller surface. The upper half of the two ends of the roll is equipped with baffles, whose function is to prevent the raw material from leakage the two ends of the roll and cause some broken beans to miss rolling.
5, Gearing
The motor is used to drive the roll shaft to rotate through the triangle belt.
